The Ridgefield Community Foundation is a collection
of funds endowed by many separate donors for the long term benefit
of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Its purpose is to strengthen the
community of Ridgefield by providing funds to assist community
organizations and individuals. Under the administration of a
representative Board of the Ridgefield community, The Ridgefield
Community Foundation will develop, receive and administer endowment
funds and then distribute those funds to benefit the charitable
organizations of Ridgefield. |

- Identify community needs with a concentration
on children, youth, elderly, health and human needs, and the
arts.
- Provide meaningful grants to ensure the success
of community projects that directly benefit the residents of
the Ridgefield area.
- Build a flexible, cost-effective and prudently managed endowment to carry out donors' objectives.
- Nurture a sense of community.
